Linda McCartney is the girl behind Paul's Maybe I'm Amazed and My Love; but the beloved lady of McCartney wasn't just a rockstar's wife. Linda Eastman, as she was born, was a profesional photographer (worked for Rolling Stone magazine with a cover of Eric Clapton), musician (Wings) and in my opinion, a style icon.
So is the case, that British Vogue decided to make a video in her honour. All they needed to make a neat and polished work was a lookalike model, some of Linda's clothes and of course Paul McCartney's song Maybe I'm Amazed (featured in our Playlist: Love Mixtape)
These are some of my favorite looks from Linda: polka dots, minidresses, trench coats and flats, simple yet cool and feminine.
Linda's photographs featured many famous rockstars from the 1960s musical scene such as Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, The Who, The Doors, and the Grateful Dead.
You guys should take a look at her photography work: Linda McCartney. Life in Photographs. and don't forget to watch the video below.
